Nackenheim is a village and wine-growing district in Mainz-Bingen, and lies in close proximity to Mainz, the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The yearly Nackenheim wine festival in the Frölicher Weinberg, named after Carl Zuckmayers comedy "The Merry Vineyard", is taking place at the last week-end in July.
