Nachi Taisha

Kumano Nachi Taisha is a Buddhist/Shinto shrine located in the Kii Mountain Range of Japan. The specific mountain containing the temple is called Nachi-san. This site is also home to the holy waterfall Nachi no taki (taki means waterfall in Japanese).

This area, nestled in the Kii Mountains of Wakayama, Japan, includes Nachi no taki, Nachi Taisha, and is part of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) designated world heritage site the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route.
