Nabil Taïder (born May 26, 1983 in Lavaur) is a Tunisian-French footballer currently playing for FC Lorient.In 2006, at the age of 22, he wanted to join Tunisia national football team for 2006 FIFA world cup but FIFA refused because he played for France U-21 so that he should have chosen Tunisia national football team before the age of 21. Taider also had the opportunity to represent Algeria with his mother being from there.
