Dr. Nabil Mikhail is a very well known Political Scientist in the Baltimore-Washington area. In addition to his research, Mikhail is a part-time professor of Political Science at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the George Washington University. Educated at the American University in Cairo, Egypt; he has a unique perspective on the political climate in the Middle East. Prior to his teaching at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Mikhail taught at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. During his tenure, Mikhail helped the Israelis to understand Egypt's role in the international political arena. Areas of expertise include: International Politics, Religion, Israel, the Soviet Union, Intercontinental ballistic missiles, the Bush dynasty, and marriage. Mikhail's distinguishing characteristic is that he is able to combine these various areas of study into a singular subject.
Dr. Mikhail has been widely published in news outlets and journals, such as Al-Ahram Weekly and Middle East Policy.
