Na Si Phadke
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Narayan Sitaram Phadke (1894-1978) was a prominent Marathi novelist around 1940. His fame hasn't much stood the taste of time. The writing of his generation of writers was criticized later for being too dreamy and unrealistic. Phadke was bohemian, and had enjoyed company of exotic women. These experiences coloured his writing.
In addition to novels, he also wrote short stories and dramas.
