This image is a digitized photograph of Lieutenant Colonel (later Air Vice-Marshal Sir) Norman MacEwen. The image was taken from http://www.rafweb.org/Biographies/MacEwen.htm where it was marked as Crown Copyright. I have performed some minor digitial enhancements. Norman MacEwan is shown wearing the initial RAF uniform design which was only in use from April 1918 to August 1919 and so the photograph is more than 50 years old. Therefore it is now in the public domain. I release my changes to the public domain.
