[edit] Never ask

This is the most simple and universal interpretation of N/a.

[edit] Redirected to Na?

This article was recently redirected (but not merged) to Na. There is no point in redirecting this page if there is not relevant material on the target page. I don't see why the meanings listed here should be located at Na, as it doesn't seem likely that anyone is going to land at one when they were looking for the other, but if anyone feels strongly that there should be one article for Na and N/a, then the text herer should at least be put there. Please don't redirect this page again without merging the content, too. Thanks. --- Vary | Talk 06:51, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comment about name for "#N/A!"

In Microsoft Excel, "#N/A!" is an error value. I post this in response to the <!-- Is there a name for this? --> message that appeared on the edit page. Hallpriest9 23:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Synonyms?

Surely Not available and no answer mean the same thing as Not Applicable (which is the more commonly used variant in my view). Why go into detail? 91.104.70.220 (talk) 17:46, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

"Not available" and "not applicable" don't mean the same thing at all! One means that you don't have a piece of data, and the other means it's irrelevant. It's certainly possible to have meaningless information or to be missing some that is important. 154.5.118.227 (talk) 02:34, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
