[edit] Smith is Notable

Erechtheus,

I believe that it is incorrect to label N. Leonard Smith's article as lacking Notability. Moreover, I believe that he is notable for two specific reasons:

1) Smith is a former Camden Co. (the city of Camden is the Co. seat) Freeholder (the N.J. version of a county supervisor or comissioner) and there are several Wikipedia articles about former county supervisors (who are otherwise not reletively notable).

Here are some examples:
Ron Gonzales (former Santa Clara Co. Supervisor)
Edmund D. Edelman (former Los Angeles Co. Supervisor)
Baxter Ward (former Los Angeles Co. Supervisor)
Kenneth Hahn (former Los Angeles Co. Supervisor)
Ernest E. Debs (former Los Angeles Co. Supervisor)
Burton W. Chace (former Los Angeles Co. Supervisor)
Thomas E. Caldecott (former Alameda Co. Supervisor)

2) Smith is a Third Party/Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate and there are several articles for Third Party/Independent candidates for the U.S. Senate in Wikipedia.

Here are some examples:
Robert Fitzgerald (politician) (MN)
Marc Millican (AK)
Thomas J. Anderson (TN)
Todd Chretien (CA)
Marsha Feinland (CA)
Sheila Bilyeu (OK)
Charlene Mitchell (NY)
Kevin Zeese (MD)
Ralph Ferrucci (CT)

Just one precedent would be sufficient to warrent notability as far as Smith's article is concerned.

I have just cited 16 of them.

So, I am going to revert the notability tag in the article.

I still would like your feedback. Perhaps you may wish to state the reasons whereby you came to your conclusion. Please feel free to do so. Everybody deserves to have there "two cents".
