From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

N'dambi (meaning Most Beautiful) is a soul singer from Dallas, TX. She used to sing background vocals for Erykah Badu.

She has released two albums in the United States. Her debut album was titled "Little Lost Girls Blues", suggesting Nina Simone's influence on her. Her second album, which was a two disc set, was entitled "Tunin' Up & Cosignin'". It focuses more on a live and jazzy sound and contains new versions of songs from her debut. It contains a seven minute long tribute to Nina Simone, simply titled "Ode 2 Nina."

Recently, N'dambi recorded a new album, "A Weird Kinda Wonderful". It has yet to be released anywhere other than Japan. It has a more funky and rock inspired sound. No information on when it will be released in the states is known. The Japan album is being sold on eBay by a few sellers, and the auctions have gone up to $140 and more.
