From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello, my name is André and I'm 23 years old. I come from Leipzig where I'm studying Linguistics and Sinology at the local university. I'm very much into languages, especially phonetics, phonology and typology, as well as writing systems. My interests also include movies, science (especially astronomy and quantum physics) and also classical music. I'm collecting dictionaries — they sum up to 251 books in 149 different languages. See my dictionaries for the entire list.
You can also read my blog here: http://n-true.livejournal.com/profile/
P.S.: I am collecting the word for the number 47 ("forty-seven") in as many languages as possible. You can see my collection (604 languages so far) here. I'm also collecting the word for water, for which I have 2,012 languages now (the list is not online, though). In case you know any further translation or if you can correct anything, please leave me a message on my talk page here or as a comment in my LiveJournal. Thank you!
I am also a (though less active) member of the Klingon Language Encyclopedia on Wikia.
