Aponar, please cite your "consensus" for the removal of the ruby furigana. I don't see any support for it on this discussion page. Furthermore, the subsections were created so that individual phrases on other pages within the topic group could be linked specifically to their pertinent location on this pageā€”not all English speakers know what to make of the word "kekkai", for example, and even the rough English equivalent of "barrier field" will not help to convey the semantics of the concept in the context of the other pages. I did this originally to aid those who are unfamiliar with X and the associated Japanese terminology and cultural context. There was a SPECIFIC PURPOSE to what I did. Unless you had a SPECIFIC PURPOSE in removing it (other than to free up a negligible amount of bandwidth) I will be reinstating the subsections in the coming days. I agree, it's better with the Ruby furigana -- but I think the main reason he got rid of it is that it isn't properly implemented in browsers other than IE (and thus shows up in confusing brackets)... though there is an add-on for Firefox (XHTML Ruby Support) that makes it work fine! (And with typical bad timing, I installed it just before the Ruby text disappeared from this page!) Dave-ros 22:16, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
