[edit] Seeper vs Seithr
In case anyone else plans on making this correction, the director mentioned on his blog that the name of the plague in 1.13: Little Box of Horrors is spelled 'Seeper', rather than the fan spelling of it as 'Seithr' [1]. Actually, who came up with 'Seithr' in the first place? Regardless, I think we should go with whatever the crew has gone with in terms of spelling, unless proven otherwise. [edit] Proposed deletion discussion
Since this article has been proposed for deletion -- and I do agree with the reasoning to a certain extent -- I thought I would justify why this article exists in the first place. Originally, it existed as part of the original Class of the Titans article, which has since become too long. I understand that WP:FICT states that such concepts should remain as lists under the main article, but at the same time, it also states that if such lists and their respective articles become too long -- which is certainly the case with the main article in-question -- then it's good practice to create a seperate article.
At the same time however (and on the pro-deletion side of things), I can also see how these descriptions go into far too much detail for what they should be, and that maybe severely shortening them and merging them back with the original article may be a better idea. As for the fancruft claim, these various creatures actually usually play fairly central roles to their respective episodes' plots, if you're familiar with the show at all, so I would say their fairly notable in context. However, I think the stronger argument for the against deletion side would still be it and the original article's length. Xanthophiliac 09:06, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
