Would it be possible to change this template so that MySpace links show up as external links? It seems wrong that they show up as a normal wiki link.

Agreed, as other external link music templates — e.g. {{MusicBrainz track}} and {{PureVolume}} — don't use interwiki links either. jareha (comments) 07:40, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

I believe this template is causing William Shatner to be categorized as a Wikipedian who uses MySpace, and even as an external link template! -- 82.46.154.93 00:40, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

It would be cool if Shatner was a Wikipedian, but I doubt that is true. Yes, it was quite the odd decision to merge the categories like this, considering how many non-Wikipedians have this template in their articles. I've brought this up at Category talk:Wikipedians who use MySpace. Maybe the old category will be brought back, but I'm reluctant to do so because there was a "consensus" already. Can we take out the bulleted markup? It makes the template not play well in nested lists (See Who Wants to Be a Superhero? for an example) Blade 18:36, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I mean because lets face it, the text is pointless, the meaning of templates is to allow code to be easier to user, but there is no code in this. -Babelious 23:32, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

N Not done. This template is used on nearly 2700 articles; a change involving that many articles should be proposed at WP:Templates for discussion. There already is a userbox User:UBX/MySpace which allows an optional account ID. Gimmetrow 06:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Used the "What links here" tool in the toolbox, set the number of pages to 2000 to begin with, and guessed a bit. Gimmetrow 02:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
