[edit] Personal life
In 2004, People en Espanol named her their first ever "Estrella Del Año" (Star of the Year). At this point in Dellano's life, her interests seem to be leaning towards the humanitarian. Though she is still involved in various projects, she has taken a notable turn towards lending her name and efforts in helping orphans living in poverty. Her hobbies include piano playing and ballet dancing.
Dellanos has been married twice before. Her first marriage was to Dr. Alejandro Loynaz. The couple had one child, daughter Alexa Carolina (born December 1993). She and Loynaz filed for divorce in 1998.
In 1999, she married David Matthews, and lasted until their divorce in 2002.
In February of 2004, she became engaged to popular Mexican singer Luis Miguel, but the engagement was called off.
On Sunday, April 6, 2008, she married Cuban pharmaceutical sales executive Ulysses Daniel Alonso in a private ceremony held in Miami Beach, Florida. The ceremony was attended only by her daughter from her first marriage and Myrka's mother, Myrka Aparicio.
