From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] you
you do have article on "myoglobinuria" I wish to add notation to that pasge which I have from the Pfizer web site regarding the drug "Liptor"
Lipitor is of the drug class ATORVASTATIN widly used around the world to control cholesterol levels, however it should be noted that"rare cases of rhabdomyolysis with acute renal failure secondry to myoglobinuria have been reported with atorvastatin and other drugs in its class. It is recomended that a liver function test be performed prior to and at 12 weeks following commencement of therapy"
[edit] which drugs cause
we need to list which drugs - or the main drugs that cause - or the main drugs that present in hospitals, etc...
I'm pretty sure I heard that angel dust and cocaine cause myolgobinuria - classic history - "drugged person found asleep on floor with history of taking angel dust or cocaine the day before"
this needs to be verified though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tkjazzer (talk • contribs) 01:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
