Myllypuro metro station

The Myllypuro metro station (Finnish Myllypuron metroasema / Swedish Metrostationen Kvarnbäcken) is a ground-level station on the northern branch (Itäkeskus - Mellunmäki) of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Myllypuro in East Helsinki.
The station was opened on 21 October 1986, designed by the architect bureau Toivo Karhunen Oy. It is located at a distance of approximately 1.922 kilometres from the Itäkeskus metro station, and 1.371 kilometres from the Kontula metro station.
