Myke Hawke

Myke Hawke (b. November 29, 1965 in Fort Knox, Kentucky) is the co-founder and director of operations for Specops, an adventure tourism and training company.

Hawke represented SpecOps on "MTV Road Rules" in 1999 and was a consultant for "Fear Factor" in 2001. He was a subject matter expert in survival, warfare, leadership, medicine and special operations for TV shows such "Tactical to Practical", "Healthcops", and "Britain's Worst and Forever Eden". He appeared in the 2006 movie Dirty Sanchez as Hawke. In 2006, he filmed an episode of the Discovery Channel's "I Shouldn't Be Alive: Science of Survival" in which he taught survival in the Amazon jungle.

In 2007, he appeared on BBC's "Castaway Exposed", and was featured as a survival specialist on "The Simple Life 5". He appeared as an interrogator for Kimberly Stewart in "Living with Kimberly". In 2008 Hawke appears on Fox Reality Revealed, Behind the scenes of Paradise Hotel 2 in the US and on Channel 5's The Gadget Show in the UK.

Hawke has served in the enlisted ranks of the U.S. Army Special Forces, as a Senior Sergeant as a U.S. Army Green Beret and a Commissioned Officer as an ODA Team Commander. He has also served in a number of conflicts as a U.S. government contractor as a project manager overseas. He has established and operated a Combat Medic School and War Clinic in Azerbaijan, a Combat Search & Rescue Program in Colombia and managed a Combat Aviation Operation in Sierra Leone. He most recently served in Afghanistan as a Commander of Mujahideen Militia against Taliban and Al-Qaeda Forces. He currently Serves in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Special Forces Captain and is assigned to the U.S.Forces Korea attached to the U.N. (United Nations).[citation needed]

Hawke is a native English language speaker and has advanced knowledge of Russian language and Spanish language.[citation needed] He has taught himself, used and been rated in a number of other languages such as French, Turkish, Italian and Serbo-Croatian. He developed a method for learning languages and published a book called The Quick & Dirty Guide to Learning Languages, FAST.[citation needed] Myke has a survival book due out in Spring of '09 with Running Press.

Hawke is a 3rd degree black belt in Aikido.[citation needed]

Hawke is married to Ruth England. He has three sons and resides in the United Kingdom.[citation needed]
