Myers Grove School is a secondary school (11-16) in the north of Sheffield. The school is currently bidding to become a businesses and enterprise college. The school is also in the process of being merged with Wisewood School & Community Sports College with the new school due to open September 2011.
Myers Grove opened in approximately 1960 as the first purpose built comprehensive school in Sheffield. It originally had a 6th form, lost in a reorganisation in the 80s, when the 6th form buildings became Loxley College, part of Sheffield College.
