The female athlete in the women's 400m hurdles is identified solely as Cherry, with a link to the fruit. I checked the disambiguation page, but there's no mention of an athlete from Myanmar with that name or nickname. Is this an error? A lack? Vandalimsm? Aridd 22:57, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

The Official Report for the Games does, indeed, list a female athlete in the 400 metre hurdles as "Cherry". Which means it's probably her actual name. So, I'd say the disambig page should include a link to Cherry (athlete) T. Cherry. -- Jonel | Speak 03:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I've searched several sites, but I've only found the initial of her first name (T.). Do you know her full name, so we can add her properly to the disambig page (for now, I've added her without even a red link)? Or hasn't she actually got a first name? I know U Thant's "actual" name was simply "Thant". And I suppose "Cherry" could be a nickname (?), but in that case the "T." (found here) is still borthersome. Anyway, I'm redirecting the link in this article from the fruit to the disambig page for now. Aridd 13:28, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

The thing is that the ORs since 1964 have listed full names of all the athletes. For the OR to list the athlete as "Cherry" indicates to me that the IOC is saying her full name is precisely that--Cherry. I have no idea where the BBC gets the "T." from. But since the BBC link does constitute a verifiable source, I'd say her article should be at T. Cherry, at least until a more informative source is found (if ever). -- Jonel | Speak 13:49, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
