Considering "The program's title is also the title of a well-known collection of Thurber stories" shouldn't this have a more specific title? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mbecker (talkcontribs) 13:06, 5 September 2002

[edit] Windom

I do believe you have the wrong William Windom linked. I presume the one you want is also the fellow who was Dr. Seth on Murder She Wrote. PedanticallySpeaking 17:11, Sep 20, 2004 (UTC)

Fixed it. Canonblack 21:40, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Infringement?

This page appears to be mostly copied from its TV Tome page: http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-817/ Is this a copyright infringement? MakeRocketGoNow 18:41, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I'll check it out. Canonblack 21:40, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[EDIT] Yes, this is almost verbatim. I'll post a banner. Canonblack 21:42, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
I wrote the original article for TV Tome (now TV.com) and then adapted that information to Wikipedia. It never occurred to me that it would be considered copyright infringement since both pieces were written by me, and I apologize if this was inappropriate. Lane Wright 2 November 2006
I wondered whether the explanation was something like that. It's probably best to write two different articles in a case like that, rather than let them be similar enough for the issue to come up. I hope you'll contribute to the new version of the article, while avoiding phrasing similar to what you used in the other one. Thanks! Karen | Talk | contribs 06:30, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thurber's death and tv series

I vaguely remember that Thurber was intimately involved in the series and that the reason that the series was cancelled after one successful season was that Thurber's death made it impossible for the series to continue without him. If this is true, it ought to be noted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.165.43.9 (talk) 16:28, 12 January 2007

That cannot be the case, because the tv series began in 1969. Thurber died in 1961. Karen | Talk | contribs 00:01, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
