[edit] Page move

Can't we move this to "My Kind of Town", since the TV show My Kind of Town is the namesake of the song? Gareth E Kegg 01:08, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

That is a good idea. However, please do not put any move tags on the article page until after it appears in WP:DYK on or about October 1, 2007.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:42, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:CHICOTW queries

I have posted the following queries at both talk pages for WP:SONG and WPP:MUSIC while this was a COTW.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 18:24, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 1964 or 1965 Grammy nominees

It would be interesting to find out if the song was nominated for a Grammy Award since we have confirmed it was nominated for an Academy Award.

Robin and the Seven Hoods was nominated for Best Original Score for a Motion picture. [1] Gareth E Kegg 18:43, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sinatra Oscar noms

The Academy Awards do not include the singer in the award for Academy Award for Best Original Song. Thus, I can not use the http://awardsdatabase.oscars.org database to determine how many songs sung by Sinatra have been nominated for Oscars. Is this something that is easy to find out some other way?

That list does not seem complete because it does not even include this song. However, it does lead me in the right direction.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 20:55, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cover versions

Finally, is there a way to research cover versions of My Kind of Town (Frank Sinatra song).

Might help [2] Gareth E Kegg 18:43, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Wow!!!! Thanks.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:45, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Title

I almost puked when I saw that the My Kind of Town page was occupied by a four-episode, cancelled TV show, I moved it, any admin that sees this can complete the move. This page totally belongs at My Kind of Town. IvoShandor 22:58, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sinatra releases

Do we really need to have every Sinatra compilation album that this song appears on? So many compilations are NN, I think the orig album releases of the four different versions are enough. Gareth E Kegg 20:50, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I think a complete list is encyclopedic.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:32, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA pass

Passes easily...just some minor notes.

  • There shouldn't be refs in the infobox
  • Looks ugly with all those redlinks - if notable, create some! If not, please remove them...
  • Rename the headers in the awards section to "Grammy awards" etc. and use {{seealso|Grammy Awards}}
