[edit] Plot summary.
I just deleted the plot summary, because it was a copyvio from http://www.animationinsider.net/article.php?articleID=591. --FuriousFreddy 23:43, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maybe You Could Add This?
Maybe you should put something on the page about the show's mega success on the CN's Friday's block, and how it boosted ratings for the timeslots, according to Toonzone.net
[edit] Copyvio warning
The characters section is mostly copied from Cartoon Network's main page, and the Episode Summary section is copied from TV.com. Please change these soon or I'm afraid I'm going to have to delete the offending material. -- RattleMan 05:10, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Update at the My Gym Partner's a Monkey page at Cartoon Network
11 new episode decriptions have been added onto the page. Squirepants101 23:29, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kerry character description
Could someone provide a character description of Kerry since she is my favourite character on the show and she likes Adam? Jim856796 11:22, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kerry is also my favorite character
Kerry's my favorite character, too. She is very cute because she has 8 eyelashes. She likes Adam, but also likes Ingrid and Lupe.
Kerry appeared in 5 episodes:
- Me Adam, You Jake
- Docu-Trauma (cameo appearence)
- Supplies Party
- Up All Night
- Kerry to Dance?
I hope Kerry appears in more episodes!
We really need that character description! James78 17:12, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Your wish is my (or maybe our) command. I've added a bio of Kerry in the new category "Other Humans". NoseNuggets 10:13 PM US EDT June 2 2006
[edit] Based on Kenny and the Chimp
Do you think My Gym Parntner is a Monkey might have been based off of Kenny and the Chimp? It never aired but considering both have a human who happens to be friends with a chimp.
- I don't agree. Especially since the actual short was created by Mr. Warburton of Kids Next Door fame and that it did air with said show on more than on occation. They have (slight) similarites but beyond a human and a monkey friend, that is where the similarities ends. Nadiasama 19:40, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dickie Sugarjumper
The name is too obvious, Sugarjumper I think may be a pun on sugarglider. Most people have not heard of one, but if I had to guess, Dickie with his big huge lemur eyes, and his long tail and his small stature, all seem to be indications that he is a sugar glider. I am not sure of this, but it is the most possible idea.
I agree. It is an obvious pun and is pretty much reaveled in the episode where Frank Platypus comes to CDMS. Pixiefrog is paranoid about aliens, looks at Dickie, and says, 'What is a sugerjumper anyway? I've heard of a Sugarglider, but never a sugerjumper.' I will change it if no one disagrees. [edit] Character Guides
There's a list called List of Characters from My Gym Partner's a Monkey. I think all character guides should be moved there. Anyone else agree? Squirepants101 12:01, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Smart-mouth
Some idiot put in some stupid quip about Inuyasha. Obviously I'm deleting it. Vandalizing is wrong no matter the importance of the article.Nadiasama 19:34, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merging character list into main article
I feel that the list of characters for MGPAM should be merged into this article as it's practically replicating what this article already contains. treelo talk 18:26, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I did a number on this page
While not completely intentional, it would seem I've trimmed so much from this that the infobox is longer than the page. I'm no authority on this, so I'll just make some recommendations for expanding it once again.
- Animal holidays: These are situational for episodes, so I don't see the relevance as anything but trivia.
- Trivia: All of it was basically episode trivia. Some inline notes about larger references might be helpful.
I'm not sure just how much this can be expanded, but it could use it. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Bah, that didn't really help, did it? A longer plot description would be good, for one. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:11, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Names
Now Do you know some of the animals' names? Like Johnny Grizzly and the penguins. When will they revealed?
[edit] Big Field Trip Article?
Since all the other Cartoon Network TV movies have their own articles, I believe as a MGPAM fan, it is not fair that this show does not even have one. Art1991 22:09, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amazon Kevin
Is this true, that the Amazon Kevin epsiode was banned in Austrailia after Steve Irwin's death?67.175.138.202 03:29, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Looks like it, although the idea of banning the episode after Steve Irwin died is pretty stupid... I'm sure as it's a kids' show it was only light humour, but you never know, people felt pretty deeply for his death. The page on IMDb says so, and they haven't been wrong on a movie banning yet (as far as I've seen).[1] User:Ss112 03:41, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Music similarity between this and Curb Your Enthusiasm
Anyone noticed a lot of the music is the same between the two shows? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.226.119.201 (talk) 15:09, 6 May 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Dickie Sugarjumper
What is Dickie. Is he Irish, (I got that imprshon first) or Brittesh. Tell me or thow a couppel more out. user: Maine sugar
- Im pretty sure he is British. Especially since they did the whole British school uniform episode and they mimicked his way of dressing. I'm assuming you haven't ever heard an Irish accent or not to many of them or else you wouldn't have to ask :) 68.226.125.194 17:18, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Image:Mgpam.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Animation Type
Can someone go into detail about the process of how they make the show? I would specifically like to know if it's animated in Flash or if it is Traditionally animated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.99.61.129 (talk) 15:37, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
