My Swordhand Is Singing is a novel written by Marcus Sedgwick, set in the early 17th century. It won the 2007 Booktrust Teenage Prize.[1] The novel follows the story of Peter, the son of a woodcutter, and his life in a seemingly normal village (Chust). The main plot startes when the Gypsies come. The story is based on vampyric folklore of a large range of countries.
Many claim that the Vampires or Hostages are more like Zombies than vampires.
