My Son Jeep was an NBC Radio and Television comedy of 1953 in which a boy "Jeep" Allison tried various comical schemes to match up his bachelor, doctor father with a suitable woman to be wife and mother. The program was produced for less than a year.
But in the mid-1950s era (1955, 1956, maybe even 1957), "My Son Jeep" was back in production, airing on the CBS Radio Network. Many recordings of other CBS Radio programs of the mid-1950s will include promo announcements for "My Son Jeep". And CBS Radio's SUSPENSE series in 1955 and 1956 was followed by hourly CBS News and then the ten-minute episode of "My Son Jeep". The closing announcements of those SUSPENSE episodes of the era frequently were worded as: "Stay tuned for five minutes of the latest CBS News on the hour, to be followed by MY SON JEEP. This is the CBS Radio Network".
