My Republic is the seventh and the last full length album from Californian hardcore punk band, Good Riddance. It was released on June 27, 2006 on Fat Wreck Chords. It was also released on 220 limited edition tan colored vinyl pressings. The album marks not only the return of Sean Sellers on drums, having been absent for two albums, but also the return to a Californian studio, Motor Studios in San Francisco. The previous four albums and an EP had been recorded in Fort Collins, Colorado. It also continued their prolonged allegiance with producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore.
It is the band's first album for three years, their previous outing being Bound By Ties of Blood and Affection – released in May, 2003. However, some of the band members had not been idle. Russ Rankin had recorded an album with his side-project band, Only Crime – which also counts Bill Stevenson among its ranks – called To the Nines, it was released in 2004, also on Fat Wreck Chords. Luke Pabich and Sean Sellers had also been busy with their side project, Outlie. They released Companions to Devils and Saints in 2004 on Porterhouse Records.
