My Red Hot Nightmare was a punk rock band formed in 2005. The band is notable for being formed by three of the most famous musicians in Christian rock: Ethan Luck of Demon Hunter and The O.C. Supertones, Daniel Spencer of The O.C. Supertones, and Josh Abbott of Ace Troubleshooter. Matt Hoopes of Relient K has played as a guest guitarist before as well. The band's music can currently be found on My Other Band, Vol. 1, and they are working on more music for a possible album as well. They recently covered the Clash's song "The Guns of Brixton". John Davis played with the band as a second guitarist, and a second-string drummer for a few shows. Ethan Luck disbanded the group due to his busy schedule with Recording and Demon Hunter. In February of 2008, it was announced that Luck would be the new drummer of pop punk band Relient K.

[edit] MRHN in California

Ethan Luck and friend Todd Cooper formed My Red Hot Nightmare originally in Orange County, CA in early 2005. They played shows around Southern California and when Luck moved to Nashville, he restarted the band as a very part time project. The band members Luck played with in CA were Todd Cooper, Zak Shultz and Dean Cooper.
