The name of the movie is derived from the 1977 hit movie Amar Akbar Anthony's famous song, My Name is Anthony Gonsalves. The film released on January 11, 2008.

An orphan, Anthony Gonzalves (Nikhil Dwivedi) was picked up by kind-hearted gangster Sikander (Pawan Malhotra), who, instead of admitting him into the world of crime, sent him to a priest (Mithun Chakraborty). As Anthony grows up he remains respectful of Sikander, but one day he finds out about Sikander's true nature.
