"My Kind of Woman/My Kind of Man" is a single recorded by Vince Gill and Patty Loveless. It's was included on Vince Gill's sixth studio album with MCA Nashville, The Key, his ninth album overall. It was also included on Patty Loveless' first compilation album with Epic Records, Classics, her third compilation album overall. The single was released in 1999. It was the second single released from Loveless' album and the fourth single from Gill's album.

After the release of Long Stretch of Lonesome in late 1997, Loveless collaborated with Vince Gill in a series of recording sessions, which were produced by Gill and Tony Brown. Gill and Loveless debuted the song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno upon its release in 1999.[1]

The song charted for 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart, reaching #27 during the week of 31 July 1999. It also reached #16 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.
