TV.com summary |
My Friends Tigger & Pooh is a computer animation television series, based on Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne. The television series features Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends, including two new characters: a 6-year-old red-haired girl named Darby and her dog Buster. Although Darby appears to be the main human friend of Pooh and the gang, Christopher Robin still appears sporadically.
Developed by Walt Disney Television Animation, the show premiered on The Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney block on May 12, 2007. The show's theme song was written by Jellyfish lead singer Andy Sturmer and is sung by former Letters To Cleo singer and co-songwriter Kay Hanley.

[edit] Notes
- Owl and Gopher have not yet made any appearances in the series, although the Beaver in the series loosely resembles Gopher. Incidentally, Gopher was actually based on the beaver from Lady and the Tramp.
[edit] Trivia/Goofs
- In "Pooh's Double Trouble", the letters and symbols on the characters' reflections in the mirror look like their regular counterparts, when they're supposed to be in reverse.
- This is the only Playhouse Disney series that has the regular Disney Channel logo after the End Credits.
- Apparently, Lumpy (and maybe some other inhabitants of The Hundred Acre Wood) are unaware that Darby, Pooh, and Tigger are the Super-Sleuths. For in one episode, Lumpy wished that the Super-Slueths would come when Pooh, Darby, and Tigger were there. After getting dressed, they told Lumpy that they were P, D, and T, and Lumpy said "You can't fool me, Tigger and Pooh don't wear those masks or those T-Shirts!
- In "Rabbit's Egg Problem" Rabbit hatches an egg. About a minute or two after the egg is hatched, the bird flies away. It takes at least at least a couple weeks before a bird can fly on its own.
