My Bitter End is a deathcore/metalcore band hailing from Middletown, New York. They are known for their heavy breakdowns, "off time chord progressions, technical precision & melodic undertones." They contain "elements of straight-up metal, more death-inspired stuff, classic rock, huge guitar-driven melodies and a great line in scorching technicality."[1]
Their latest album, The Renovation, was recorded by Jamie King, who has also recorded albums for Between the Buried and Me, Whitechapel, Through the Eyes of the Dead and the Classic Struggle.[2]
Their sound is best described as melodic ala Misery Signals,Technical ala Between The Buried and Me, and heavy ala Through The Eyes of The Dead.The sticker on the front the album accurately describes the cd.
They will be making their Reunion show at the Peekskill Elks Lodge on February 22nd with the following bands: The World We Knew, Anyone But You, Of Sound and Silence, Jack Torrence, This Blissful Silence, and Above the Ruins
