[edit] Main Characters

Gooby, Toofy, and Woozy

Toofy- Woozy’s twin- he’s older by one minute. He’s the clown and loves to laugh and play jokes! He really looks up to his big brother Gooby, and he has a weakness for J. Edgar’s special chocolate chip, peanut butter and jelly cookies. Toofy loves dinosaurs, exploring and is all boy. Toofy is the real-life nickname of Alex and Carol’s son and Kelsey’s twin, Christopher.

Woozy- She loves to put pretties in her hair and cuddle and carry around Snoozy the pillow. Her fave game is bugball and she’s always up for adventures with her brothers! She loves keeping up with her brothers and proving girls can accomplish anything! She is very well rounded, equally drawn to pretty things, her “pretties,” and sports and adventure. Woozy is the real-life nickname of Alex and Carol’s daughter and Christopher’s twin, Kelsey.

Gooby- the big brother bug. He loves science and his favorite toy is his chemistry set. He loves to invent things. He loves to read and learn, and share his new discoveries with his brother and sister. He enjoys video games, but is more focused on fact finding. He loves to try out his inventions on his brother and sister, setting a great example of teamwork. Gooby is the real-life nickname of Alex and Carol’s son, Ryan.

J.Edgar- the vacuum and “father figure” who looks after Gooby, Toofy and Woozy. He helps them clean up and always looks for a lesson in each activity or adventure. He may have a formal manner, but is actually quite encouraging, reassuring and nurturing. He is good natured and laid back and love joining the bedbugs on their adventures. As a toddler, Alex and Carol’s son Ryan was very attached to his toy vacuum, the inspiration for J. Edgar’s character.

Snoozy- the cuddly pillow always found in the arms of the bedbugs- usually Woozy! He spends most of the day sleeping and yawning, and loves to cuddle and be held, but he’s always up for the fun adventures the Bedbugs get into. He loves to play everything from hide and seek to space adventures.

Ruffy- is the bubbly fish show splashes around in the Bedbugs room. From his bowl, he can go along on Bedbugs adventures! He loves singing, dancing and is always good for throwing out a splash.

Windy- the window who lets sun shine in on the Bedbugs and all their adventures. He makes sure the Bedbugs look out and see what’s going on in the world.
