Welcome!

Hey, MWShort, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like the site and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful (some of them may sound stupid, but I recommend you check them out):

While editing, please remember:

You should introduce yourself here at the new user log. I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name, the date, and the time.

For your first edits, I suggest searching for articles that you think might interest you. You could also be audacious and try a random page.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome and happy editing! Cbrown1023 01:40, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lindbergh's rank

Thanks for correcting my mistaken rank achieved by Lindbergh pre-WWII on the P-38 Lightning page. Must have been one of the sources I saw that got it wrong. :(

Meanwhile, here's the style manual for capitalization of rank. From the guide: ...one would write "Brigadier General John Smith", or "John Smith was a brigadier general". Cheers - Binksternet (talk) 18:25, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
