The Champagne Stakes is a Group 3 Australian thoroughbred horse race for fillies aged 3 years old under set weight conditions, over a distance of 1200m.
It is held annually at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne.

1975 onwards held over 1200m
1975 – 1978 was a Principal Race
1979 – 1984 was a Group 3
1985 – 2004 was a Group 2
2005 onwards Group 3
1975 - 1978 the race was known as the ‘Moonee Valley Champagne Stakes’
1979 - 1984 the race was known as the ‘Leilani Stakes’
1985 - 1988 the race was known as the ‘Veuve Cliquot Classic’
1989 the race was known as ‘The Veuve Cliquot’
1990 - 1993 the race was known as ‘The Laurent Perrier’
1994 - 2003 the race was known as the ‘Champagne Stakes’
2004 the race was known as the ‘Mitsubishi Stakes’
2005 onwards the race has been called ‘Champagne Stakes’.
