Vandalism by others users on Altoona-related articles

As you are already aware, there has been consistent vandalism to Altoona-related articles as well as your user pages. Despite these edits coming from different IPs, the nature of the edits indicates that they are being performed by one (or at most: a select few) individual(s). It also appears likely that the individual(s) know you personally, as random strangers generally wouldn't have such persistence to direct their libel toward you directly. I am pursuing the issue with the internet service provider -- which is the same across all of the IP addresses making the edits. Any information you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. If you know the individual(s), you may be able to file a lawsuit against the individual(s) for libel, slander, harassment, etc. Cheers! --Bossi (talk • gallery • contrib) 00:42, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you, this is much appreciated. Unfortunately, I do know this user from a site I used to post on back when I had very controversial viewpoints which have since changed for the better. The site is DirtyJokesInc, and he was mostly known as "bert" or "bertram". The same individual, or at least someone "allied" with this person, would also post under other names and use a pretentious, stereotypical Harvardesque vocabulary. Unfortunately, he's followed me around to just about every website or forum that I've been a member of, including vandalism on my own website. He has once or twice said that he's met me and lives in Altoona, but I don't know anything about him beyond that. I wish I knew more information so that I could put a stop to his garbage once and for all. MVillani1985 (talk) 14:39, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
