[edit] Port of Registry
I'm getting pretty fed up of this bickering over her port of Reg. Yes, she used to be London but since her refit in December 2006 P&O swapped it across to Bermuda to enable weddings to take place onboard. This is pretty common knowledge, despite what the rarely updated P&O cruises website says. Lloyds Register shows her as now being under the Bermudan flag, as does Equasis. - It is not exactly common knowledge - I for one didn't know about it, and I do try to keep up to date with e cominds and goings of the industry. If you can provide a reliable, verifiable source that states she has been re-registered to Bermuda, then please go ahead, change it and include your reference (the same goes for the body text, obviously). If not, we'll have to go with the P&O website. -- Kjet (talk · contribs) 17:50, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Call Sign
I have been looking a photos I have of the ship's tenders which show the ship's call sign to be ZCDU9 and not GVSN as stated however I am reluctant to change it as I do not know whether any of the other information stated about the call sign is correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neuphin (talk • contribs) 21:22, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure why but Oriana is listed as having two call signs GB VOS listPalmiped (talk) My latest understanding is that Oriana has been re registered to Hamilton, Bermuda think this is why new call sign, needs further research Palmiped (talk) 23:05, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
