[edit] Question

Why is it mysterious that 25 people drowned? Baloogan 08:58, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

"had observed something the Japanese did not want them to see."

Secrets of Japanese fishing industry? very convincing.
It's considered analogous to the case of the Mary Celeste an abandoned ghost ship found off the coast of Portugal in 1872. In fact, The Joyita case is sometimes referred to as The Mary Celeste of the Pacific. I'm going to work on beefing this article up so that it is apparant that paranormal explanations for the disappearance of the passengers have been offered. It is not my intent to weight the article in any one direction, however. I'm just pointing out that this case gets people to speculating.Lisapollison 21:32, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
