Muyezersky (Russian: Муезерский; Finnish: Muujärvi) is an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Muyezersky District of the Republic of Karelia, Russia, located on the Muyezerka River (Kama's basin), 375 km north-west of Petrozavodsk. Population: 4,007 (2002 Census); 4,400 (1989 Census).
It was founded in the end of the 1930s due to the construction of Rugozersky timber industry enterprise. It was granted status of urban-type settlement in 1965.
