"Beyond limiting bonuses, Power Level does nothing to restrict a character's power; a power level 10 character can have a maximum Strength of 40, whereas normal d20 characters would be lucky to have a single 20-rated score at 10th level."

Someone hasn't been eating their Munch-O's. Such a d20 character is monster feed.

They're also somewhat wrong -- a PL 10 character in Mutants & Masterminds 2E can only have a Strength of 30 (barring certain Trade-Offs). And I've never had a 10th level D&D char with more than one score above 20. Dr Archeville 11:05, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
