[edit] Notability

Maybe this page should be redirected to Target Games, where a small section could be dedicated to Mutant?--Sus scrofa (talk) 15:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree that this would be appropriate. --Gavin Collins (talk) 16:13, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Nah, apparently there's a movie based off of this role-playing game, or at least the later Mutant Chronicles version of it. And it seems to be the basis of a video game, and a collectible card game as well (Doomtrooper). So merging it wouldn't be appropriate, but finding more sources to document these facts would be. If anything, I think you'd want to merge it into Mutant Chronicles. --Craw-daddy | T | 19:22, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, Mutant Chronicles doesn't carry over anything besides the name from the earlier versions (cyberpunk & post-apocalyptic) and that was only done by Target Games for marketing purposes AFAIK. (In the earlier versions your PC could be a mutant.) Also, Chronicles had international editions as well IIRC whereas Mutant was only published in Swedish decreasing its notability. It's enough that the Mutant Chronicles article notes that it was preceded by earlier games with the same name by Target Games I think. --Sus scrofa (talk) 21:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
AS you clearly know more about this game than me, I'll defer to your judgment. Would you care to do the merge and redirect? --Craw-daddy | T | 10:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, sure thing. I'll wait for a day or two though, to see if someone else wants to pipe in on this subject. --Sus scrofa (talk) 12:08, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
