I am currently studying microbiology at the University of Leeds.

I enjoy a variety of genres, particularly martial arts and horror. However in general, anything with a bit of class or originality, or anything that can move me. Here are some of my favourites:

• Pulp Fiction - An enjoyable film: in my opinion the epitome of cool. Tarantino is one of the best directors of our time.
• Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - This film introduced Wuxia to the masses, especially those who had previously not been interested in the martial arts genre.
• Hero (film) and House of Flying Daggers - Both directed by Zhang Yimou. These are both quite engaging films, with deep characters, amazing settings and beautiful scores.
