I don't remember Ridcully being Archchancellor in the first books. I have to look that up Aastrup 16:21, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, he wasn't always Archchancellor. He first showed up in Moving Pictures, and he's merely the first Archchancellor who's lasted more than one book. —Yar Kramer 00:07, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
