[edit] Some problems with this bio
Please don't take this personally, but Wikipedia is not a C.V.! Please replace the list of papers with an external link to Halilsoy's academic website. TIA ---CH 03:49, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
I am guessing that 141.2.215.181 (talk ยท contribs), aka the fias.uni-frankfurt.de anon (Physics, University of Frankfurt) is Halilsoy or someone who knows him. If so, disclosing that information (e.g. by registering as a WP user with a transparent user name such as MustafaHalilsoy) would be good practice.
Please be aware that we don't want to try to have bios of every scientist who has ever lived, especially if these read like C.V.s and are written by the scientists themselves. This is after all a general purpose encyclopedia, not Whos who in science. ---CH 03:55, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I understand the point. It must not look like a CV and must be to the point. As far as I know his contribution to the field is not very ordinary. I beleive his name must be mensioned in the proper context.
- I was editing this page. He was my supervisor. Would you please help me to make it more objective? Specially a third person must edit the content and the presentation who is an expert in the field. i.e. like Hillman. So I will stop to edit this article anymore to prevent any subjective description.

Hi, Msuzen, thanks for explaining your connection with Halilsoy. I don't claim to be an "expert", just an increasingly frustrated cruft patroller at WP. I am too busy right now, but if I get a chance I will take a look at the article later. ---CH 04:44, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
