[edit] bands

I'm going ahead and adding a couple of bands that use musical saws. Each of these bands, while not extremely well-known, is notable enough for their own article, so I think it'll be ok. If anyone objects, feel free to delete them from the article, I won't sqwauk. ~ Torgo 18:11, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

I'd like you to note too, that there are two long parts of saw playing in background in the top-five-oscars-winner movie : Fly over a cuccoo's nest, with Jack Nicholson.

[edit] Dead Links

The followings link was dead, so I deleted it(keeping the link here just in case they come back alive or they reopen under a different URL): Musical saw video

re: "Julian Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel played the singing saw, along with various other instruments, in the band. He is now rumored to be start a singing saw orchestra." should rumors be listed? seems unencyclopedic

[edit] Killing people

Can you kill people with a musical saw? Diabl0658 (talk) 03:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, yes, since it's just a saw... You can kill anyone with most instruments - The fact of the matter is though, that a saw is a sharp instrument. You could ues it like a normal saw, and if you consider a normal saw able to kill somebody, then yes. However, sawing through bone is now as easy as the movie Saw would like you to believe.
