[edit] nothing about traditional sri lankan music

This article is really about the origins of Sri lankan POPULAR MUSIC. It does not cover the religious drumming which is an important part of Sri Lankan music, religion & culture. I hope you can find someone who knows more about the subject than I to add a needed element to this article.

[edit] A Little More Now

After finding this article today & seeing it's lack of traditional aspects (though the Baila aspects in it were quite thorough) I updated it with a little about Sri Lankan drumming. Hopefully in time either (a) I will know more and be able to add more, or (b) someone else will soon know more and be able to add more.

As for the Baila info, though, thanks a lot!!
