[edit] Sources and article content

I will personally provide more sources for this article over the next few weeks. Improvements to the article are welcome, but just wiping it out isn't proper. Please discuss any proposed changes here on the talk page. Dreadlocke 06:38, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title Change

Dreadlocke, I am not sure as to what the title should be changed to. I think I would consider merging it into Music of Florida. That is my own personal opinion. That would seem logical and would also give you the liberty of editing and expansion. To be safe, I would ask an admin to see what they would suggest. Wikipediatrix has already moved this article for deletion and she is a stickler for sourcing and formating. I have had many issues with her myself and have now moved on past those things but I can assure you she will not stop until it is either sourced correctly or deleted. So I suggest you getting someone more than myself and Bobby to help. Now as far as sourcing the article goes. I think it should be a whole lot easier now. However, I still think you should bring in a variety of artists from that area. There are a ton of them. But caution must be used because they would need to be notable. I found this out when some of my articles that I created were deleted with claims of non-notability. I think that was BS becasue one of the artists was only 16 but was already on the charts with a top 10 song. I am going to rewrite the article on that artist but I will go about it with sourcing instead of popularity. I think you are doing just fine and if you will let me know which direction you would like to take I will see if I can find some sources for you during some of my research time. [edit] Fair use rational needed for Image:As_Nasty_As_They_Wanna_Be_cover.jpg

This album cover requires a fair use rational for each appearance in articles. I've added rational for As Nasty As They Wanna Be and 2 Live Crew, but if no rational is given for this article, it will be removed from it. See Wikipedia:Image_description_page#Non-template. -- JamesHoadley 12:54, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DebutKC.jpg

Image:DebutKC.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:22, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
