[edit] GA nomination(s)

Still no images.-- Run! 00:23, 17 July 2006 (UTC)- Various (minor) things that occurred to me as I plodded through the article:
- Two "See main article" things are redlinks and should be removed.
- "At home, women often play the daireh, a drum which is supposedly sanctioned by the Qur'an" - I can't find support for this in the reference given
- Same for the following paragraph
- I noticed in the Afghan music category there is an article "Rebab" which appears to be about the same thing as the article "Rubab" which is linked from this article. The spelling should be altered if necessary, depending on which of the articles is correct.
- I've relisted the article; but prefer to get a second opinion on whether it meets the criteria, particularly section 1. (WP:WIAGA) -- Run! 10:34, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Broken Link
- Review of Anthology of World Music: The Music of Afghanistan. Delusions of Adequacy Reviews. Retrieved on August 27, 2005.
This link was not working as of 28 January 2006. I believe that the page has moved to http://www.adequacy.net/review.php?reviewID=3579, and I have updated the link accordingly.

[edit] Who the heck wrote this Article
they put an image of abdullah Kandahari instead of Ahmad zahir.....obviously this person just wrote this Article to piss off other Afghans...come on Ahmad zahir's pic should be the first image ..even it has more right then Farhad Darya's pic.
plz do not remove the Ahmad zahir pictuer which I have added..tht is a non copywrited picture of the legendary singer which took me hours to find becuase most images are copywrited by the websites and you must admit that is one of his best pictures and it is crucial when talking about Afghan music that Ahmad Zahir is very..very important. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Naghma-mangalx1.jpg
Image:Naghma-mangalx1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
