"Muscles of the orbit" gets 467 Google hits; "Extraocular muscles" gets 105,000. AED 23:02, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

Per the above, Extraocular muscles should not merge into Muscles of the orbit. "Extraocular muscles" is typically used to describe the six muscles that control the eye movements; however, the levator palpebrae superioris and superior tarsal muscle are literally "extraocular". I'll bring this up in Wikipedia:WikiProject Ophthalmology. -AED 00:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't understand - does this mean "Extraocular muscles" refers to 6 and/or the 2 others you mentioned? 86.1.105.242 21:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
