Born June 23, 1976
Cairo, Egypt

Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil (Arabic: مصطفى محمد فضيل‎) is a citizen of Kenya and Egypt indicted [1] in the United States for his part in the bombings of their embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. He is accused in particular of preparing TNT and loading that TNT plus other explosives into the truck which was used as a bomb in Tanzania. He is wanted on eleven counts of murder, several weapons and conspiracy charges, and charges which apply specifically to attacks against American government personnel and facilities.

Fadhil fled Nairobi to Karachi on 2 August 1998, on the same airliner as Sheikh Ahmed Salim Swedan.

Fadhil was born in Cairo on 23 June 1976.

Fadhil was on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists list from its inception on 10 October 2001. In August of 2004, it was reported that an Egyptian "big fish" with a "multi-million dollar bounty on his head" was captured in Pakistan by Pakistani authorities. Shortly thereafter, Fadhil's name was removed from the FBI's list[2] and also from a similar list[3] maintained by the State Department. This leads many to believe that he is currently in custody of either Pakistan or the USA, although there has been no official confirmation or denial.
