In 2004, Prince toured North America to promote his Musicology album. The tour was often billed as Musicology Live2004ever. The tour lasted from 27 March – 11 September 2004 and covered 96 dates throughout the United States and Canada, fetching a significant profit for Prince. It was attended by 1.47 million people in 2004. [1]

Despite being a tour for Musicology, only a few songs from the album were usually performed. However, Prince suplemented these with his extensive back catalogue, both hits and more rare fan-favorites and a few notable cover versions.
