The music of the video games Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II was composed by regular series composer Nobuo Uematsu. Although composed separately, music from the two games are often compiled into one soundtrack.

All Sounds of Final Fantasy I•II is a soundtrack album of video game music from Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II. The album contains the musical tracks from the games, composed, arranged, produced and performed by Nobuo Uematsu. It was released on February 28, 1989. It spans 49 tracks. Tracks 1 and 49 are arranged versions of Final Fantasy themes from both of the games, tracks 2-21 are from Final Fantasy I and 22-47 are from Final Fantasy II. Track 48, "Dungeon" is an unreleased track composed but not used in the games; it was later actually used in Final Fantasy VI, renamed "The Magic House".

Symphonic Suite Final Fantasy is an arranged soundtrack album of video game music from Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II. The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the games composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged in orchestra by Katsuhisa Hattori and his son Takayuki Hattori and performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Katsuhisa Hattori. It spans 7 tracks and covers a duration of 39:33. It was first released on July 25, 1989, by Polystar/DataM and subsequently re-released on April 16, 1993, although information about this pressing is unknown and on March 25, 1994, by Polystar/NTT Publishing. The original release bears the catalog number H28X-10007, the first re-release bears the catalog number PSCR-5184, and the most recent re-release bears the catalog number PSCR-5253.

Final Fantasy & Final Fantasy II Original Soundtrack is a soundtrack released for the PlayStation remakes of Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II. The music was arranged by Nobuo Uematsu, who also composed the scores for the games and Tsuyoshi Sekito. It spans two discs and 65 tracks, covering a duration of 102:30. It was released in Japan on October 23, 2002.

On May 10, 2005, Square Enix released the individual version of the Final Fantasy soundtrack. This EP does not have the "Welcome to F.F World!" or "Farewell to F.F.!" tracks found on the All Sounds album.[1]
